Great location, and the staff were really kind and friendly.
The seafood meals were generous and let the flavor of the sea come through. I also enjoyed a morning bath overlooking the ocean. It's not a hot spring, and the bath was spotless. I came back for the first time in several years, and liked the inn even more than before. Every corner was clean and well maintained, which sounds simple but is hard to get right. The guest rooms and bedding are simple, as you'd expect from a guesthouse, but they provide yukata robes and bath towels. It won't suit someone looking for luxury ryokan service, but I'd gladly recommend it to anyone wanting a good-value trip.
The food was delicious, and the view from the bath was amazing. The entrance had such a strong smell of grandma's house, it was amazing (◡^‿^◡). We stayed December 13th and 14th, 2025, for the Geminid meteor shower. Sadly the weather was poor and we didn't see any stars. The service, though, was excellent. The bath is shared and available morning and evening. They provided just one bath towel, and I think renting another cost 100 yen, though I can't quite remember.
My spouse and I stayed one night over New Year's, with breakfast but no dinner, for about 16,000 yen. Getting that price during the busy season was a real help. If, like me, you usually appreciate a great inn at a low price, I think you'll be very satisfied. The view, bath, breakfast, and cleanliness were all excellent. The building has been renovated throughout, inside and out, which left a very good impression. I'll definitely return.
