Le Studio Gojo Takakura

We extended our stay and moved upstairs, where we got a bigger balcony and a little more space. The hosts were very accommodating and quick to respond, and there's a large, well-stocked supermarket just around the corner. It's not the most central spot, though Kyoto's sights are all within walking distance. Near Gojo station, this clean, modern accommodation has comfortable, spacious rooms, a big bathroom, washing machine and full kitchen. A really good-value base for a longer stay.

We stayed three nights and were really happy with our choice. The room was very large and had all the amenities, including a washing machine and a bathroom dryer system that worked great for us. Gojo station is a few minutes away, and shops and restaurants are about a 20-minute walk. The staff were welcoming, gave us washing powder, and let us check in earlier than the usual 16:00 time. We'd definitely come back. Thank you so much for everything.

The rooms were fine, but the service was garbage and completely passive-aggressive. He wouldn't let us leave our luggage after checkout. In all my travels, that's the first time anyone's refused.

That bed made it so easy to sleep well after a day out, and the apartment was spotless with no mold at all, which matters in Kyoto's humidity. It's in a handy part of town, close to what I needed. The place is newly built and feels like a great find. I only wished for more daylight and a few more kitchen things.
