We came for the crab and it was wonderful. We ordered too much, but somehow managed to finish it all. The only downside was that the staff spoke very little English. The drive there was scenic, but it took a long time. Might come back for the crab.
The location by the emerald-colored sea is lovely. Better to visit in summer.

A tucked-away boutique hotel with great food.
The inn was right by the ocean. It was February, cold and snowy, but we made it safely by car. The hot spring inn was beautiful, and the staff were all kind and gave excellent service. Our room had both an indoor and an outdoor bath, so we could soak whenever we wanted. Watching the snow while bathing was especially lovely. The crab dishes were delicious, and we enjoyed every last bit. Breakfast was a generous, tasty Japanese meal. There was also a free drink service in the lobby, which was a nice touch. The main public bath was beautiful, with both indoor and outdoor baths, and the spring water was excellent. There was a sauna too, though the temperature was a little low. When we left, the landlady gave us sake as a souvenir. We were grateful for everything and would definitely like to return.
