The full-course crab dinner was even better than I’d expected. Afterward, the pub had a great range of Japanese sake, which made the evening especially enjoyable. I stayed one night over the New Year holiday, and the whole building was spotless and clearly well cared for. It was a wonderful stay.
The meals were amazing, and the staff were very friendly. I loved the beach view, and the rooms were really quiet. Rooms without a private onsen have a toilet but no shower, so you need to use the public bath or book a time in the private bath to shower.
This hotel is just steps from the beach and is a landmark in the Hatchohama area. My room faced the sea and had a lovely balcony. I visited in the low season and got a Japanese-style room with tatami and futon that felt newly renovated. The hotel was peaceful and quiet, as Japanese accommodations often are. The onsen stays open until 24:00, which was convenient. I booked without meals, but was told the chef trained at a reputable ryotei in Kyoto City, so I’d include food next time. The room charge was good value for money, and I’d stay here again on a future visit.
I booked a newly renovated room with dinner and breakfast included, and had a top notch stay. This is easily the best Onsen Inn I’ve stayed at.
The view was good, the room and spring were clean, and the hospitality was nice. The food was delicious, and I enjoyed trying several kinds of crab.
