Everything had a cozy, cared-for feel, and the staff were lovely throughout. They showed us around at a relaxed pace and were always available when we had questions. The rooms had both air conditioning and heating, and the facilities were clean and looked after. There was a big range of food, too, and the kitchen had what guests needed. Fresh towels were available each time we showered. We had an incredible stay.

Everything felt just right, and the hosts were easily the friendliest people we met in Kyoto. Such a wonderful place. Highly recommend it.

We were close to the Eizan station, and the breakfast was generous and really good. Show was such a lovely host and made our week in Kyoto unforgettable. The historic house was amazing, and the facilities were comfortable and impeccably clean. A great place to experience Japanese culture and hospitality.

There are two Brompton-like bikes guests can borrow for free to explore Kyoto, and some interesting historic sites are nearby. The hosts take such good care of you and go out of their way to help you feel comfortable. If you want to experience Japanese courtesy, this is the place.
