It felt like staying in a home, with a cozy welcome and lots of small details that gave the house character. The area was peaceful but still convenient, and it stayed quiet at night, so we slept well. We had a fantastic time and hope to return.

Feby was really sweet and full of helpful information. This place was a highlight of our trip, and we had such a lovely stay. We absolutely recommend it.

The house supervisor was genuinely nice and helpful. The rooms and service were both excellent, and the Japanese style makes this especially appealing for couples or anyone who likes that look.

A good spot to unwind after a long, tiring day in Kyoto.

We felt completely at ease during our four days here in October 2025. It’s an old Japanese house in a quiet part of Kyoto, with modern comforts. Mr. Feby, the friendly and capable young man who manages it, takes great care of the place. Well worth five stars.
