Guesthouse Tonton Nobu

The house was very clean and well equipped, and the local train and bus stop are nearby, with handy connections across Kyoto. The host was fantastic and very helpful. He had information ready about places to eat and the surrounding area, and gave us useful advice about different parts of Kyoto.

We had a really comfortable stay. Nobu san made us feel welcome and at home. He offered to show us around the city for free, and his English was good, so communicating was no problem.

Our little apartment was spotless and had just enough room for five adults. We stayed five days, with the metro and small shops nearby. The host was lovely, spoke excellent French, and took us around the city. He even helped track down our lost luggage, which was amazing since we didn't speak much Japanese. Highly recommend! 👍

We stayed at this inn while our child was taking an entrance exam. After arranging it with them beforehand, we were allowed to stay past checkout because there were no bookings for the next day. The quiet surroundings helped us relax, and our child was able to feel comfortable. We also made some lovely connections during the stay. We'd certainly choose this inn again if we get the chance.
