Good value, and the place was fairly clean despite there being no staff around for much of the day. Check-in takes some planning since nobody is there to help, so look for the key instructions in your email or Agoda message. Keep your key with you, as getting assistance if you lock it in your room can take a while. You need to take your shoes off before entering the room area. There are three ground-floor rooms sharing two baths, plus separate toilets for women, men, and people with disabilities.

The room was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and I really liked the showers. Staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was nice. It’s an easy 15-minute walk to Kyoto Station, with great amenities. I had a wonderful stay at this cute hostel and would recommend it.

The bathrooms, showers, and toilet were clean and pleasant to use. There’s laundry for a reasonable price, and detergent is available to buy there. The reception team were friendly and helpful. The place itself was comfortable and clean, and free Wi-Fi was provided.

The location is average, and Kyoto Station isn’t very close, though you can walk to the nearest bus stop. Inside, it has pretty much everything you’d need at home: a microwave, oven, sink, electric kettle, dining table, sofa, and more. It’s very clean, and there are coin-operated laundry and dryer machines, with detergent in the laundry room.

The staff were so friendly and enjoyable to talk with. The rooms are thoughtfully laid out and comfortable, and both the shower and washroom areas were kept very clean. A really nice stay for the price.
