The woman who welcomed us was so patient with all our questions. She even stayed late to make sure we got to our room safely. Such a friendly greeting.

The guesthouse felt like a proper townhouse, with a veranda straight out of a Japanese drama. It was a detached home with much more space than a hotel room, and Kyoto Station was very close. AEON Mall was right outside, so we could pick up groceries and cook there. We could also leave our luggage at a nearby reception area, where the staff spoke Chinese. It was my favorite place we stayed on the trip.

Just a five-minute walk from Kyoto Station. The place was clean and had everything we needed, and reception could speak both Chinese and German.

It felt pleasant and homey, and it was only about a 500-meter walk from Kyoto Station. Clean, too.

The price is very affordable, and the surroundings are nice. It seems well suited to a family stay.
