We found the apartment calm at night, in a quiet, safe neighborhood close to subway stations, convenience stores, cafes, and restaurants. Getting around Kyoto was easy. The staff were friendly and responsive, with clear check-in instructions and quick help when we needed it. Inside, the place was clean, spacious by Kyoto standards, and thoughtfully laid out. Two separate bedrooms, a comfortable living area, and a full kitchen made it feel more like home than a hotel. We had what we needed for simple meals, and the washing machine was a big help for a longer stay. The modern, spotless bathroom had good water pressure and a deep Japanese-style tub, nice for unwinding after sightseeing. We had a wonderful stay at Four Sisters 2-Bedroom Apartment in Kyoto and would happily book it again. It’s a great fit for families or groups, especially anyone traveling with children or wanting extra space.

The Residence is well placed for seeing Kyoto on foot or by metro, and we’d gladly return. We had a wonderful time. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, and the staff were pleasant and keen to help.

We liked the place and I’d recommend it. The apartments are spacious and nice. Check-in took a bit of effort: you use an iPad in the lobby to connect with someone who walks you through it, but we did get the key. We couldn’t park in front, so we drove around to find paid parking. The clothes dryer setup was interesting. You hang clothes in the bathroom and warm it with dry air, and it actually works.

We stayed in several places in December 2025, and this was our best apartment stay 😆. It was quiet and spacious, fully furnished, with good heating and a thoughtfully designed room. Management also provided an English guide for each Japanese system.

We had a wonderful stay at Kyoto Four Sisters Residence with our family of four, including two older teenage kids. The room and amenities were excellent, and the staff were absolutely exceptional. It’s very well located near a central bus stop and subway line. Don’t hesitate to book this apartment hotel!
