The rooms had lovely views, and the neighborhood was wonderfully quiet. It takes about 10 minutes to reach a JR station, with a convenience store just 5 minutes away. The building feels modern, but traditional-style rooms are available too. I've traveled around the world and this place is right up there with the best. I'd happily recommend it and would book again on my next Kyoto trip.

The owner was so polite, gave us a gift, and even kindly drove us to the train station. We stayed over Christmas and had a really good time. It was lovely to be in a traditional Japanese home, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Kyoto.

I spent a week here in June and felt really at ease the whole time. The suite was tidy, clean, and warm, and the owner was polite to guests. If you're hoping to experience local life while visiting Kyoto, give this place a try.

The hostess was warm and helped us figure out how to reach nearby sights. She gave us maps and her own tips, which came in handy. We had a lovely visit, though it's worth knowing this is one room in a two bedroom apartment, with no kitchen. There's just a shared coffee nook with a kettle and small fridge. It's around a 10-15 minute walk from the station. Getting our heavy bags up to the third floor was awkward, but the hostess was happy to help.

We spent a month at leeki Studio and had a great time. The location was nice, and Aki was so kind, even offering us little things to eat. Loved the tatami room. Thanks again, we'd recommend it!
