The garden out back was nice, and the bus stop nearby made getting around easy. Both bedrooms and the living room had air conditioning. It’s a great guest house, with traditional beds and a new Japanese-style bath.

It was reassuring to know I could email the staff if I needed anything, even though I didn’t see anyone from check-in through checkout during my two-day stay. Having parking was a huge help. Finding a place to stay in Kyoto with a parking lot is difficult, so that was a real bonus.
