R&B Hotel Kyoto Station Hachijoguchi - Vacation STAY 16219v

The biggest problem was the noise. The windows don’t block sound well, and you can hear noises from inside the hotel too. I wouldn’t pick it again, though if you can sleep through the nighttime noise, it might suit you. The location is great, about five minutes from the main station. The room and breakfast were both basic, as you’d expect for the usual Japanese standard. Nothing special.

The remodeled rooms have modern decor and feel practical and comfortable. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the price was excellent.

Pretty stingy place. The hotel feels old, with tiny rooms and bathroom, just one pillow, and a small TV and desk. Thin walls mean you can hear noise from the next room. The front desk welcome wasn’t very nice either.

I liked the freshly baked bread at breakfast. The room was clean, neat, and not too small, and the staff were helpful. Breakfast and Wi-Fi are free.
