We came over from the States for a vacation and booked this place before the trip. The photos were accurate, and even though it was a bit pricey, well, I guess that's Kyoto. I felt safe and much more comfortable here than in a typical hotel. There's lots of space, a tiny kitchenette, a dining area, and a washer. Clothes have to air dry. It's close to a small grocery store, a couple of tourist temples, and bus lines, so I'd definitely consider staying here again on another visit.

The beds were great, whether you prefer a futon or a Western-style one, and the place feels really solidly built. It’s tucked away but still close to what you need. A brilliant spot for a family, and I’d recommend it.

The bathtub was bigger than in other business hotels, and I liked having the bathroom separate from the toilet. There’s also a washing machine, plenty of futons and pillows, and enough room to sit and relax in the tatami space. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the kitchen had basic cookware, so we could pick up food at a nearby supermarket and make meals. It’s quiet, good value, and close to Heian Shrine. The convenience store does take a bit of a walk to reach.
