Rin Premium Koki Higashi

I checked in at a sister hotel near Kyoto Station, then took the free round-trip taxi to the townhouse. It was beautiful, convenient, quiet, and so relaxing. This was my first stay in a traditional Kyoto townhouse guesthouse, and I had a fantastic time! ＼(^o^)／💕 While sightseeing I spotted RIN in lots of great locations. I’d love to try townhouses in different areas next time! ✌️🥰

Rinn has hotels at different levels, and this one is a high-end place. The house is spacious, with a long corridor leading to the bathroom. There’s a kitchen and washing machine downstairs, and washrooms on both floors. The main living room is comfortable, with room for five or six people to eat together. Upstairs are bedrooms and a Japanese-style room, and the original wooden roof structure is still there. Kimono are provided for guests. My overall rating is 4.9/5. I’d gladly book again and recommend staying more than one night. The spa tub would be perfect if it were outdoors. Check-in for all Rinn hotels is at the Rinn hotel near Kyoto Station. The staff arrange a taxi transfer after check-in.

The cypress bath was a highlight, and the whole place had a lovely atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. It’s beautiful and feels luxurious. There’s no food provided, which made finding something a bit difficult, though bringing your own and eating in worked out nicely.

We were four in the family, and the Kyoto townhouse gave us a very comfortable stay. It cost a little more, but the luxurious feel made it worthwhile.
