The Japanese-style living room was fun, and it made me feel like Nobita. It’s also very convenient to check in at Kyoto Station and have your luggage delivered for free. You don’t need to check out in person, just leave your room card.

I stayed with my family, and we were very happy with the place. It’s furnished like an old Japanese house, and the kitchen, bathroom, and furnishings were practical. The house is a minute from the train station and a five-minute walk from Fushimi Inari-Taisha. There’s a convenience store open 24/7 on the back street. Getting from check-in to the house takes quite a while. They have you check in at a hotel about five minutes on foot from Kyoto train station, then call a taxi, pay the fare, and send you to the house. Keep hold of the entry card, since losing it means a 10,000 yen fine.

I stayed here so I could visit Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine early in the morning. Check-in is at a different location, but they called a taxi and paid the fare for me, which was a big help.
