The beds were roomy and comfortable, and both the bath and shower felt wonderful. The place had a lovely, picture-perfect look, but was still cozy without feeling cramped. It blended traditional style with modern touches and gave us everything we wanted, plus a little more. We already know where we'll stay if we return.

The free breakfast and light refreshments added a lot to our stay, and the service was amazing. This was our favorite hotel in Japan. Staying in a traditional Kyoto building made the whole experience feel authentic.

We felt right at home here. The staff were warm, attentive, and very helpful, and the apartment was well kept while still showing off its traditional features. After a busy day sightseeing, the lounge was a nice spot to recharge, with a good variety of snacks. The hotel sits in a quiet neighborhood away from tourist crowds and busy streets, yet Marutamachi underground station is only a few minutes' walk away. I'd definitely come back on another Kyoto visit.

The rooms are large and private, and the bathrooms have gardens. Staff were very helpful, and the concierge service was really good. Drinks at the bar are free, and the staff make nice snacks to go with them. Breakfast is included too, and was nice. One of the best places I've stayed. It costs a little more, but I think it's worth splurging. A very different experience overall, and one I'd especially recommend to couples.

The Kyoto Imperial Palace is within walking distance. The staff were super nice and spoke English, and the room was clean and fairly spacious. My favorite part was soaking in the wood tub while looking out at the little garden. They include a light breakfast, snacks, and alcohol too. Such an amazing place.
