Rinn Shirakawa South

The location was very nice, and I liked the tatami floor and heated toilet seat. There's a laundry room and a microwave on the first floor. I only met the receptionist at check-in. He was alright and spoke a little English, so that was no problem, though we misunderstood quite a bit through the in-room notes. The cleaning policy is eco-minded, and our room was cleaned once in three days, which I liked. We stayed four nights. The main downside was the bathroom water. After 9 p.m., when I often needed to shower, it was very cold and hard to get it warm or hot. It was unpleasant. Maybe the building is old and the water system is just like that, but still.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The location was convenient, and our room was large enough for a child.

I liked the tatami bed most of all, and the service was the best part for me. The location was very good too. They had manga for us to read, and Fresco supermarket nearby was really cheap.

We got great value for our money here. The room was clean and cozy, with enough space to relax, and there are laundry facilities and a microwave on the first floor. The staff were very friendly and spoke a little English, though it was limited. For our anniversary, they made a lovely pair of towel swans. We really enjoyed staying here.
