Our neighborhood was cozy, with tasty restaurants and shops, and Nijo Castle nearby. It was also easy to get to one of Kyoto's most exciting areas. My wife, our daughters, and I came from the U.S., and the staff were kind and helpful throughout. Momo was especially welcoming, shared useful tips, and even offered to drive me somewhere to get a replacement luggage wheel after ours broke during airport delivery. I was able to work from the lobby as a remote worker, too. We had a lovely, family-friendly stay and thought it was great value. Thanks again, Grace Villa!
8/10
The staff were really friendly, and the rooms were clean and roomy. It's fairly well placed in the city, though the subway is about a five-minute walk away. We had a nice stay at this charming little boutique hotel.

A lovely part of Kyoto, with plenty of lively shops and restaurants nearby. The place was delightful, and the staff were super friendly.

I had a roomy, cozy room and appreciated the private lift that went straight to it. It gave the stay a lot of privacy.

There are some really good places to eat nearby, and the staff were friendly with excellent service. The location is close to the train station, Nijo Castle, and niahiki market. If you're planning a Kyoto stay, this is a great choice. Highly recommended.
