It was a nice, quiet place to stay, though quite a long walk to most places.

The heated bath was great for soothing my sore muscles, and the staff were kind and accommodating. Walking to Tofukuji station was easy, which made it convenient to explore Kyoto’s sights. There’s a 7/11 and a supermarket nearby, too. We also loved that every bunk had its own charging station and lamp.

I stayed overnight with seven former colleagues, our first time getting together in 34 years. The place was clean, and seeing the bunk beds on the second floor brought back so many memories! ✨ Having two shower rooms and two toilets was a lifesaver, lol. It was really great!
