Hotel Cinquante

The room was clean.

Breakfast was tasty, and I could choose either Japanese or Western food. It was great value to have it included at a reasonable rate, and there was even a campaign for the anime "Maebashi Witches." The hotel is in Honmachi, Maebashi City, right downtown across from Rose Avenue and close to the Gunma Prefectural Government Office, so it's handy for sightseeing. Guest rooms have their own baths. The front desk is on the second floor, where you can pick up amenities like toothbrushes and razors.

Whenever work brings me to Maebashi, I've stayed here for about four years. The first-floor main dining room is stylish, and the food there is delicious. They also have a nice range of free drinks you can pour yourself into paper cups. It's easy to reach because it's near the government office, and the reception staff are very polite. I'd stay here again if I get the chance to visit Maebashi. Thank you very much.

The facilities are a little dated, but clean, although there was a slight smell in the unit bath. It's near the downtown area, and you can get a free ticket for the affiliated parking lot. For just one night, I thought it was good value and had no major complaints. The problem was that the payment machine rejected my free parking ticket, so I couldn't use it. I'm sure the hotel would have provided another one if I'd asked, but the lot was a bit far away and I was short on time, so I paid for parking myself.
