The owner was so warm and sincere, and even offered to drive us to the bus boarding point when we were about to miss our bus to Osaka. I stayed here for three nights and was impressed by both the facilities and the beautiful surroundings. The common area is roomy, with sofas, a hammock and a dining table, and the kitchen has all the necessary utensils plus a huge refrigerator. The shower and powder rooms were spotless, and the cabin rooms were clean and beautifully put together. I’ve stayed in quite a few places in Japan, but this one topped them all.

I chose this affordable place as a base for Ine and amanohashidate, but looking back, I probably should have stayed closer, perhaps in Miyazu. To get here, I took bus number 31 from the bus station at the 2 pillar, where there are three pickup areas. Once I arrived, I used Whatsapp, and the front desk guy appeared, which was a relief. I’m guessing he lives here and waits around until someone shows up.

It’s a good place for the price, with friendly staff and a convenient location. Since it’s a hostel, there were lots of customers, all sorts of people. It wasn’t too bad, and the quality felt fair for what I paid. If you want privacy, I’d suggest a hotel.

We stayed in the private room cabin, which was beautifully decorated and clean. The shared facilities were spacious and very clean too, and the rooms were well soundproofed. Such a lovely place, with really sweet and helpful staff.
