The food really stood out, both dinner and breakfast were delicious. We were four family members with our small Shiba Inu, and the owner and staff were all so kind and helpful. They gave us a comfortable, spacious 12-tatami Japanese-style room on the second floor. Looking through the trees from there, we could see the ocean and a beautiful sunrise. We’d definitely like to stay at this inn again♪

Seeing the sunrise over the ocean with Mt. Fuji in view at the same time was unforgettable. We stayed in winter with our dog, and the innkeepers were so kind that the whole visit felt warm and welcoming. There was a dog wastebasket by the entrance, plus etiquette wear, which I haven’t seen at other inns. The building is a little old, but the interior was kept up well and we were comfortable. The vending machines weren’t working, but a convenience store was about a five-minute walk away, so we stopped there during our walk after the meal and it wasn’t a problem. We chose the set meal plan with five choices, and the main dish was delicious. The meal was even better than we expected, and the fresh fruit dessert was very satisfying. The bath was a bit cold, and in midwinter the shower took a while to heat up. Still, we could refill the tub as much as we wanted, so that was fine. It’s a lovely, warm-hearted place where I felt comfortable bringing our dog.

The grilled tuna collar was a real highlight. The food was delicious, and the staff were kind and friendly. It was also a very quiet place.
