Tabino Hotel Matsumoto

We had a large group across three rooms and found the service excellent and the price good. The hotel and rooms were presented really well. Free massage chairs, little ice creams, and amenities were nice bonuses. They easily stored our bags before check-in and after checkout, which gave us more time to enjoy Matsumoto. We loved staying at Tabino Hotel Lit and highly recommend it.

The breakfast buffet had a great range of food, and there's a sento too. I was pleasantly surprised by how roomy the room was compared with most business hotels. There was space to move around, work at a proper desk, and keep luggage.

We stayed for three nights in late October and were very happy with the hotel. It was a clean, well-presented 10-storey building, with around 20 rooms on each floor from the third to the tenth. The fridge was a decent size, and the room also had a microwave, washing machine, and somewhere to hang clothes. There were plenty of free facilities: an artificially created onsen with the usual onsen facilities, room clothes and slippers, and coffee on the first floor each morning. From 5 to 7 pm, the restaurant offered one free alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink. Later, from 9:30 to 11 pm, you could have rice with soup and various additions. There were also two massage chairs. The hotel is within walking distance of Matsumoto Station and many popular attractions. I'm glad I chose to stay here, and would definitely recommend it.

Really good value for the quality. The cozy room had its own washing machine, and hotel guests could use the sauna and onsen for free. They offered a free drink on arrival and a light meal from 9 pm to 11 pm. There's also a vending machine and coin laundry, and breakfast was excellent. The staff were helpful, elegant, and friendly. Truly recommended!
