Hotel Very Matsusaka

I've stayed in a lot of places for work, and this is one I'd recommend. The price is reasonable, the food is good, and I was happy with the stay. At dinner, an employee chatted with me, and it felt like they really cared about making guests welcome. I was surprised that the washer and dryer were free. They even brought the finished laundry up to my room. Maybe it was a one-off, but it was the first time that had happened to me and it really impressed me. Ice was free too, and when I asked for hot water for cup noodles during work, they happily brought it. I'd definitely stay again next time.

I paid 3,600 yen for a room without meals, and I honestly wondered how they could provide so much at that price. There were huge carp in a tank before the rooms, and my room was very spacious, with a kotatsu and other amenities. The public bath was a great extra and stayed open until 11 pm. The water temperature seemed to change depending on the time, but I could adjust it myself, so it wasn't an issue. The staff were polite and friendly, and I could chat with them easily. I was also surprised that both the washer and dryer were free. There are two washing machines and one dryer, so staff need to coordinate their use. I booked after reading reviews to see what the place was like, and ended up much more satisfied than I expected. It was even better than some mediocre business hotels 😱. Sorry for the long review 🙇‍♀. I'd like to become a regular here, as long as I can afford it.

I found this inexpensive inn while looking for somewhere to go, and booked one night with two meals. Saturday dinner was sukiyaki at a reasonable price, and I got a room to myself. The place has an old-fashioned charm and a fairly relaxing atmosphere, and all the staff were very kind. I was very satisfied and would like to come back. Whether it suits you is for you to decide.

The small bath was convenient and especially nice in winter, even though the rooms have unit baths too. Breakfast starts at 6 am, and I was able to request an extra serving and make good use of the early time. The inn sits along the Ise Kaido, so it could work well for an overnight stop while cycling. There's a gas dryer, and after it rained at night, they let me store my bike indoors. Next time, I'd like to call ahead and reserve sukiyaki or something like it.
