The breakfast was a nice touch, and I really liked the curry and spring rolls. I had assumed the hotel was right next to Matsusaka station, but it turned out to be about an eight-minute walk, which was still quick. The physical key on a long plastic fob took me back many years. It works, of course, but having to leave it at the lobby and ask for it when I came back was a nuisance. The VOD selection seemed broad and wasn't expensive, but the interface felt dated. I couldn't get the picture to fit the screen, and if I forgot to reset it, some selection buttons were hidden. The resolution was only mediocre, so I'd skip it if that bothers you.

The staff are helpful and friendly, and the breakfast is excellent. At least one person on staff speaks good English. The hotel has what you'd expect, and it's only about 5-8 minutes from matsusaka station. I'd stay here again if I come back to Matsusaka.

8/10
The rooms are the usual small business-hotel size, so they aren't great for tall people. Still, this is where I usually stay when I'm in town for work. The staff are friendly, the room is very clean, shops and restaurants are convenient, and breakfast was good.

6/10
The rooms are a little small, but they have all the comforts. It's a reasonably priced place near the train station, with several restaurants close by, a good breakfast, and a relaxation area on the first floor.

The room is small, but the price is very reasonable. Breakfast is free and nice, and there's a hot spring on the first floor.
