It was our first group stay, four middle-aged women on an anniversary trip with classmates. The food was delicious and made with care, and both the rooms and baths were really clean. We could use them freely and were very satisfied. I don't often visit Shirahama, but this is an inn I'd like to stay at again!

I keep remembering the landlady's cheerful, kind, thoughtful nature, even months after my trip. I'm looking at my notebook and planning another visit. During a long trip I stayed at other inns, but before going home I found myself wanting to see her again and talk, maybe even call. I'd never felt that way before. Make sure to reserve meals too. They'll satisfy both your heart and your stomach!

Our child loved the food so much they ate too much and couldn't move! The meals were delicious, made with the landlady's love, and there was plenty to eat. Nothing felt lacking. Thanks to her heartwarming hospitality, our family had the wonderful trip we hoped for, and we'll definitely stay again when we visit Wakayama. We prefer an inn with a warm welcome that makes us reluctant to leave over high-end accommodation. This place made us want to return. The room was clean. The bathroom was a unit bath, not a hot spring, but it was spacious and spotlessly clean. The toilet was so clean you could almost sleep in it. I always check the window frames at inns to see if they've been cleaned, and these were perfectly clean too. Thank you so much, landlady!

The landlady had such interesting stories, and the place left us wanting to come back. We stayed on the first day of our Wakayama trip after quickly booking the affordable dinner and breakfast plan because the reviews were good. There were three roomy Japanese-style rooms, and the room itself was very spacious. The bathroom was separate rather than a unit bath, with plenty of space in both the bathroom and changing area, so they were easy to use. Dinner was generous: sashimi, freshly fried tempura, and a hot pot with chicken, bean sprouts, and noodles. Everything was delicious. They'd just harvested the new rice, and that was tasty too.
