The location is the one thing I liked. There's a Gusto straight across the street, a Lawson next door, and a tasty izakaya opposite as well. The hotel itself felt like a haunted house. Tape patches were all over, and the guest room locks were broken, so I had to stay with the door unlocked. The unit bath was tiny, barely enough room to shower standing up, and getting a steady temperature took skill. The water kept swinging hot and cold. The toilet was an old-fashioned Western style, like one from an elementary school, with a low, small seat. My knees hit the wall when I sat down. The air conditioner remote's batteries were dead and its cover was missing. The old air conditioner was covered in grime, and a foul smell came out when I turned it on. The sofa had a worn, lint-covered cover that put me off sitting down. The bed was so hard that I woke with back pain and had to use a pain patch. The pillow looked like it had once been white, but sweat stains had turned it a cafe-au-lait color. I left it alone and used my luggage as a pillow instead. 5,100 yen for a room without meals is outrageous. 3,000 yen at most would feel fair. I'm never staying here again.

I booked it thinking I only needed somewhere to sleep. It made me realize even sleeping means breathing and, well, bodily functions. I worried about breathing dusty air from the air conditioner or freezing. The unit wasn't very effective, but it was better than nothing, and I was sure I was inhaling mold. I'm trying to put this delicately. I got a cheap stay, and I'd feel bad if the place went under, but the marks I saw looked easy to clean. There was mold on the door beside the toilet, apparently growing over splashed urine, and it clearly hadn't been cleaned. Something was stuck to the wall by the bed, maybe a booger, and that looked easy to remove too. The elevator's posted inspection date had already passed, so it seemed it hadn't been checked. I wondered what would happen if it broke while I was inside. It's quite old, and I couldn't see a contact button. If I got trapped, could I reach anyone outside? How many days would it take to get out?

The room was roomy, and it had a very Showa-era feel. The location is good, with a Lawson next door and a Gusto across the street. But the bathroom and toilet were small, and the toilet had no bidet. The facilities are old, and the lamp was broken and unusable. There was a long hair in the bathroom, the shower curtain was black, and the curtains were so dirty I couldn't touch them, lol. Something is really wrong here. The low rating is deserved. It's not even up to business-hotel standard.

The location was the only decent thing. The place was moldy, the toilet was old, and the room phone didn't work, so I had to call from my cell. There was a cheap alarm clock, but no batteries, so it was stopped. Maybe it's better to sleep in the car and spend the money saved on a good meal.

I knew the place was old before I arrived, and hoped it would at least be clean. Sadly, the carpet dirt and curtain stains stood out, and I found hair in the bathroom and on the blanket. The shower pressure was strong, which was nice, but the body soap dispenser was broken. They'd put the soap in another bottle, apparently a foaming dispenser, so getting it out was really difficult. The amenities were just a razor, toothbrush, and toothpaste, plus a yukata to wear in the room. A Lawson next door was handy, and there's a supermarket nearby too. I could hear young people making noise late at night.
