Sound Swell Resort

I stayed through a typhoon and still had an amazing time. The place is cozy and sits across the street from what I think is the best beach in Chiba. The owner was super helpful. Thanks, and see you again 🤙🏽.

We were very happy with our stay. The owner was one of the nicest men I’ve ever met and was so accommodating. We chose the breakfast package, and the breakfast was great. Highly recommend.

The compass the owner said he’d stumbled across in a shop is my favorite thing there. I spent one night and was a little unsure at first, waiting outside what looked like a curry restaurant, but the staff were so welcoming. The owner showed me around the room and explained everything carefully. There’s a wonderfully unusual mix of old-fashioned pieces, from ship models and oars to lights and lighthouse lamps, apparently tied to his hobbies. Even the king-size bed had a princess-like look, and the owner had made it himself, haha. I’d love to come back, try another room, and see the other decorations.

The night sky was incredible. From the room, you can see palm trees and a beautiful beach right outside, and the view really gives you a Hawaii feeling. The place is so cute and the location is amazing. I can’t think of many hotels this charming in such a spot at this price.
