We went shortly after New Year for a private onsen and New Years Lunch. The private onsen rooms were enjoyable, and we could also use the observation baths on the top floor. The traditional New Years lunch was excellent. The biggest downside was the front desk staff. They were curt and not friendly at all, especially the woman.

The private onsen was clean and very relaxing. Since it was a private bath, they let me use it even though I have tattoos.

I stopped by twice to ask about the public bath and dinner, and both times the same woman at the front desk was very unfriendly. I won't be going back.
