It's far too expensive for such a bad location, squeezed between the road and the sea.

The bath and sauna looking out over the Sea of Japan were the highlight, with a great mix of views, privacy, and sauna setup. Sauna fans should try this place at least once. I booked because every room has a sauna and stayed one Friday night. Each room sits in its own building, with check-in at a reception hut nearby. They provide basics like coffee and toothbrushes there. The room itself was spacious and open, and the built-in Pop-In Aladdin lets you watch movies and TV on a big screen. I went without meals, but there are very few supermarkets or convenience stores close by, so I'd shop in Fukui City beforehand.

We booked the room-only plan and brought our own food. Self check-in confused me a little at first, but there was a phone line and they were very helpful. The room had a stylish, lovely atmosphere that got me excited, and I especially liked the jellyfish lights! 🪼 Rain meant we couldn't use the wooden deck bath or BBQ set. Still, the hot plate and kitchen utensils let us enjoy ourselves indoors. They even had crab forks, as you'd expect in Fukui, which was a nice touch in summer. Although outside food was all we were allowed to bring, they had salt, oil, yakiniku sauce, mayonnaise, ketchup, coffee, and more. We even made shaved ice! 😆 There isn't a TV, but the setting was so lovely that I didn't feel it needed one. Then I found the Aladdin projector and had fun playing games and watching movies. People mention bugs, and there were some, but I guess that's unavoidable in this kind of environment. It helped that insect repellent and other supplies were ready. It's a lovely place for a comfortable seaside stay with family or friends. I'd definitely come back.

The peaceful, quiet surroundings left me feeling refreshed, and the view from the UKAN room was wonderful. I could see the blue sea and beautiful mountains, which made it easy to relax. The facilities were clean and showed attention to detail. It's about a 30-minute drive from Fukui Station. I'd definitely like to stay again, thank you.
