It reminded me of camping trips from our student days, and seems like a nice getaway for families, couples or a group of friends. I worried a tent might be uncomfortable in summer, but it had an air cooler and felt good. You can pick up fresh seafood at the nearby market for a barbecue, and Maruha's hot springs are right next door. With the ocean right in front, the setting is hard to beat.

We went with our five-year-old and had never slept in a tent before. I’m not usually into camping, but glamping turned out to be great, and we’d like to make it an annual trip. The bedding, temperature and BBQ area beside the tent were all comfortable. We stayed at Site C in a Snow Peak Landrock, facing the sea. The waves can be heard all day and night; we found the sound soothing and slept well, but it may bother people with sensitive ears. Earplugs were provided. If constant waves would be a problem, Site A or a ryokan may suit better. The BBQ space was easy for a family to use, with a fridge, stove, microwave, kettle, toilet, table, speakers, air conditioning, seasonings and cutlery. There was a shower, and it was nice to have the hot spring next door as another option. The amenities were good too, including Mikimoto skincare and shampoo for women.

We appreciated being able to use the hot springs as much as we wanted during the allotted time, and the water felt lovely. The sauna and morning bath were relaxing too. Our trip was in February, but the air conditioning, stove and bedding kept us warm. The cooking equipment was more than expected and very handy, though as someone who likes to cook, I would have liked a nearby sink, even without a kitchen. We stayed at Site C beside the sea. After a clear explanation of the facilities at reception, we borrowed the key and went up the stylish stairway, where the view from the top was beautiful. Everything looked well cared for, and the amenities were good. The tents and chairs were from top brands (lol)👍🏻⟡.·. Strong winds meant we had to skip fishing and the campfire, so we didn’t get as much time to enjoy the scenery as we hoped. Next time I’d like to try Sites A or B and bring the kids. Thanks for finding my lost hat 🙏

I could have watched the ocean glitter in the morning for ages, and the location right beside it was lovely. The non-dome tent had air conditioning and was comfortable, so apart from one issue I had a relaxing stay. The futon felt damp. It’s described as a bed, but it was a mat on the floor, which may be why it felt humid. I brought my own food, and found the lack of a kitchen and the limited cooking utensils inconvenient. The dome tent placement could also be reconsidered, as others have mentioned. It wasn’t a bad stay, but it didn’t feel especially luxurious to me, so I’m not sure I’d call it glamping.

We went as two girls for our first glamping trip and would definitely like to come back. The place looks stylish inside and out, and the decor got us excited. We could pack light because they had ready-to-use cosmetics, and the MIKIMOTO amenities were a nice touch. It brings together hotel-style amenities, a spot beside the ocean, a camping experience and unlimited access to natural hot springs. Seems like a great place for a family, a couple, friends or a girls' night away.
