Seaside Pension Namioto

We couldn't swim at Yumigahama beach because of the rain, but still had a really good stay. The dining room and our private room had stylish seaside decor, and the guesthouse was lovely, especially thanks to the owner's personality. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious.

The owners were really nice, and being able to use the outdoor shower was handy. There were even seashells set into the concrete by the shower, a small detail I liked. My family and I enjoyed the pension's stylish feel and aromatherapy scent at the entrance. Dinner had meat, fish, soup, and more, and tasted great. Breakfast was good too, though I'd have preferred homemade bread with butter or olive oil instead of margarine. We were very satisfied with our stay.

The rooms are clean to an immaculate standard, and you can see the blue ocean from the windows. They're at minshuku level, so don't expect too much from them. The food is what stands out: mostly Western dishes, with the ingredients put to good use and seasoned to bring out their natural flavors. It was delicious, better than the quality you can get in Izu. Yumigahama Beach is within walking distance, and Cape Tarai takes about 20 minutes on foot. Get up early for a walk and you might catch the sunrise. This is definitely going on my list of places to stay. A very good pension.

The ocean-side room was bright and pleasant 🎵, and the food left us very satisfied 😋. The guesthouse-style service was warm and welcoming, so we felt comfortable there. We'd love to come back 😊
