The room was a stunning Japanese-style space with a beach view and complete amenities. It also had an open-air bathtub, though it was actually small for two people. There's a free shuttle to and from Shimoda station, but you need to reserve it in advance. The onsen and spa services are on the first floor, while dinner and breakfast are served on the third. The kaiseki dinner was wonderful, full of fresh seafood. Most of the instructions are in Japanese, so at least one person who understands Japanese would help you fully enjoy the stay. The paper in your room lists estimated sunrise and sunset times in case you want to walk on the beach around then 😊

I really liked the view from the room, but wasn't impressed with the food. I keep comparing it with the place I stayed at in chiba last year. The prices are almost the same, but the food here is really far from what they served in chiba.
