The meals were a real highlight: we had both breakfast and dinner, and it was great to have an English menu. The ryokan has that lovely clean, old-fashioned feel, though there are steps around the property to keep in mind if you’re traveling with older people or anyone with mobility issues. The service made the stay especially easy. They carried our luggage up the steps, laid out our futons, and helped put them away later. For onsen-hopping, they also provided a sweet little basket with towels and traditional yukatas. We had an amazing time here.

I especially enjoyed being able to book a private onsen room ahead of time. The staff were warm and welcoming from the minute I arrived, and the meals were delicious throughout, with plenty of variety and good quality. My room was comfortable and gave me a relaxing place to unwind after a long day. I had a wonderful stay.

The reception team were the standout for me. They were so kind, always smiling, and ready to help. As a solo traveler, I felt welcome and looked after the whole time. My room was impressively spacious, with a view that felt almost unreal. Breakfast and dinner were both exceptional too. I’d absolutely recommend staying here.

We showed up exhausted, hoping for a good meal and a relaxing onsen bath, only to realize we’d booked the wrong check-in date. The hotel was full, but the manager, Shingo, was incredibly understanding and went out of his way to arrange a room at a nearby hotel and point us to a fantastic restaurant, Nomu. We couldn’t stay this time, but his kindness and service deserve the highest rating. We’ll definitely come back. Thanks again, Shingo!

A lovely little village for a relaxing stay, and the onsen was beautiful. The food was traditional and delicious. The staff were so welcoming and kind, especially Mirina, who was a wonderful, very kind host.
