Yusai Bekkan

The onsen was simple, but clean and pleasant, and they have free tea, coffee and water for afterward. The building is a little old and shows its age, though the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially the young woman who checked us in. We stayed in a washitsu with reet mats, and could borrow a yukata for the onsen in the nearby main building. They even encouraged us to wear it around town during the matsuri. Highly recommend.

The room at Yusai Bekkan was a little old, but it was clean, comfortable and didn’t smell bad. It’s also right by Kurokawa Onsen Bus Stop, which made the location very convenient. Everyone at Yusai Bekkan and Yukyonohibiki Yusai was kind, helpful and efficient. Special thanks to Mr. Masami at Yusai Bekkan and Ms. Takada from the main hotel Yukyonohibiki Yusai. They were both friendly, professional and so helpful. Kurokawa onsen is lovely, but their kindness and service made my holiday much more memorable. ARIGATO GOZAIMASU ^_^

The staff were welcoming, and I could use the high quality onsen at their base location. My room was clean, had a nice view, and came with all the basic amenities. It was a great room.

I arrived well after the usual check-in time and figured I’d have to check myself in. Instead, a gentleman stayed waay late to help us get settled. I can’t thank him enough for that.
