Yadomaru Mine - Vacation STAY 58077

There’s a Yamazaki Store behind the inn, which makes picking up groceries easy, but check the hours and shop early. It closes at 8 PM, and a sign says 7:30 PM in April. The front desk staff came outside to greet us, which was such wonderful hospitality. This is a room-only inn, so there’s no meal service or large public bath. Our room was spacious, the facilities seemed fairly new, and we had everything we needed, all of good quality. My only small gripe was the single-ply toilet paper. There is a coin laundry, but only one machine, so get there early if you need it.

We were surprised by how clean the rooms were, and they felt like a typical business hotel despite the exterior. The hotel was clean throughout, and the staff were very polite. I’d read comments about thin walls, but they weren’t an issue for us; earplugs were available at the front desk, though I didn’t need any. My husband said this was his favorite hotel of our trip. There’s a supermarket nearby, and Akiyoshido Cave and the Karst Road are a short drive away, so the location is convenient. I’d definitely stay here again on a future trip to Yamaguchi.

The front desk staff were incredibly helpful, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and more relaxing than other business hotels I’ve stayed in. I’d highly recommend it and would like to return at the end of the fiscal year.
