Hotel Oak Shizuoka

The capsule was so cozy, with a comfortable bed and sheets all set up for you. It was super clean, the Wi-Fi was great, and I liked the fan inside that kept the air moving. The hot spring bath is a two-minute walk away, and there’s a cute park nearby. The location is good too, around 10-15 minutes from the station. I’m only sorry I booked two nights. The bathrooms are in the sleeping area and there’s no kitchen, just a mini fridge, but I’d happily stay again!

My room was clean, and there’s a free public bath, though men and women use it at different hours. No one was at reception when I arrived, so I tried to check in on the screen, but it couldn’t find my reservation. Someone eventually came over and helped. There was no information in English. The room had a kettle but no tea or coffee. I used tap water the first night and bought coffee at the Konbini the next morning, only to find out later that there was a free drink bar on the first floor. Nobody had mentioned it. The staff didn’t feel very welcoming.

The place was very clean and had plenty of amenities. We had a great stay, and they let us keep our bicycles in the room.

I lost my iPad there, and got conflicting answers about whether anyone had found it. They acted like they weren't interested in helping. I'm angry and really anxious now. Please give me my iPad, or at least try to find it and get it back to me.
