The service desk kindly filled in the luggage forwarding form for me. I was really struggling with it, so I'm incredibly grateful. This is my second stay, and I'll be back for a third when I visit Japan again. The rooms are clean and breakfast is amazing. I wish I could give more than five stars, 10/10!

I had a really memorable stay here. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well looked after, and the staff were warm and attentive at every turn. They made sure I was comfortable and happy, and every conversation was pleasant. I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for friendly service and a welcoming place to stay. A five-star experience for me.

We were really pleased with our stay, and the price was very reasonable. Breakfast was tasty, with a mix of dishes, and hot and cold drinks were available around the clock. The staff were polite, friendly, and always smiling. Rooms were clean too. Thank you💕🤗

The staff were great, and checking in was easy. The smoking area is on the first floor near the laundry room.

The staff made a huge difference to my 14 days in Japan. I arrived jet-lagged and feeling like a total foreigner who didn't know the language, but they were kind and patient. Ms Maru spoke English and went out of her way to help with transport, local activities, and even ordering fried chicken from a takeaway. If someone didn't understand me, they'd get a phone and translate so we could work it out. By the end I was practicing Japanese phrases with them and felt accepted. I also enjoyed chatting with other guests, including three young guys from Barcelona, a Nigerian family, and other Americans. People seemed relaxed and easy to talk to, probably helped by the lounge and the hotel's friendly atmosphere. The hotel was comfortable to spend time in. The lobby had soft sofas for waiting or talking, and the dining hall was open all day, a nice place to sit with coffee and a book. Seats by the windows had charging points. Breakfast changed a little each day and included American options like eggs, sausage, and toast, alongside Japanese food such as miso, rice, and curry, plus salad and vegetables. The food was fresh, topped up, and the area kept clean. There was room to eat breakfast or have dinner there instead of in the room. The hours were around 6 to 10am on weekdays and later, until 1pm or so, on weekends. Soda fountain and cafe drinks were available during the day too. In the waiting area, we could take lavender or rose bath powder to use in our private bath, and there was always ice water and iced coffee. We rented bikes from the hotel and explored parks and shrines around town. They lent us umbrellas when it rained, and left fresh towels and water bottles each day. The room had a comfortable chair and side table, a closet, and a modern TV that linked to Netflix and YouTube accounts. The pajamas for men and women were so comfortable that my son wore his out in public during the day. There were lots of washers and dryers on the main floor, plus vending machines for late-night snacks. There are a few restaurants and a park across the street, though most restaurants open after 7pm. We biked to a grocery store with ready-made hot meals packed individually, including sushi, pasta, and fruit salad. A taxi stand is two blocks away, and staff can call a cab. The air base is a seven-minute walk. A plaza with currency exchange, a liquor store, and souvenir shops is about five to seven minutes away on foot. Around five minutes from the hotel, there's a craft store where you can decorate your own tea box. A kind man from Aurum hotel recommended it. The project took about an hour: we picked washi paper the first day, then came back the next day for the owner to help us. The gentleman was so nice he gave us a ride there. Misawa is well placed for exploring. Aomori is an hour south by train, and the station is about a 30-minute walk or seven-minute taxi ride from the hotel. You can also take the train south to Hachinohe. We took taxis to Towada's museum and Aeon Shimoda Mall, which has good shops, a big grocery store, pastries, donuts, and a movie theater showing films in both English and Japanese. There are rice paddies and bike roads around, and we visited the Misawa airplane museum. Across the street from the museum are a beach and an observation tower. There's a bike route from town to the museum, though we took a taxi. I found this hotel when I really needed help feeling at home, and my time here became a complete joy.
