The guest locker keys get hot in the sauna and can nearly burn your skin if they touch you. The guest lockers hang loose, which feels a bit worrying, while the visitor lockers are tucked inside plastic and seem more secure. I really hope they fix the lock issue. The outside cleaning contractor also needs attention. On a day I'd requested cleaning, I came back to find somebody's used in-house clothes on the table. That's ridiculous. My room was also the only one without tissues, even though I could see them in other rooms. I asked staff and they brought some over, saying they weren't an optional extra and the outside contractor had missed them. The contractor's quality seems low. Even with those problems, the front desk and other employees seemed well trained and made a very good impression. Laundry service at the front desk costs 400 yen. If they're busy, staff take your laundry and wash it when they have time. I checked back three hours later and found it neatly folded in a Takashimaya shopping cart. I've never seen a hotel in Japan do this. I've traveled for work in every prefecture, and this felt like an innovative service. It would be hard to get a machine otherwise, so I appreciated the staff taking responsibility. Maybe they wash towels for work too, but either way, it was a great service. The restaurant charges meals to your room number, but the vending machines don't, and they don't take the new 1,000 yen bills. There's nowhere inside to eat breakfast, so you have to go out. I think the building has central air conditioning, and it can get hot at times, so bring a portable fan. I ended up staying four nights after I couldn't get a room at any hotels. I was unsure if I'd have a private room or sleep well, but this turned out great. I was there on my own, taking a few days off work, and chose to eat inside rather than out. It costs around 5,000 yen to stay, so it's good value. The personal area is about 10 rooms divided into three sections, with upper and lower bunk rooms next to each other. The beds weren't small. There's also a shared space for watching TV, eating, drinking, and remote meetings. You're not allowed to eat, drink, or take phone calls in the rooms. The sixth floor has a reclining area and restaurant. The restaurant is mostly run by one staff member, so order efficiently. Some of the student customers were a bit inconsiderate of one person doing all the work. One of our three students ordered yakitori with sauce, then a few minutes after it came, another ordered salt. I found myself thinking, all three of us are ordering, what a pain. A couple minutes after the salt order was ready, the third person ordered the sauce. Oh no, they messed that up. They probably thought it looked good because their friend had it, but this isn't an izakaya. Still, the food is delicious, with generous options, and everything I ordered tasted good and wasn't expensive, at most around 1,200 yen. I expected food at a place like this to be mediocre and overpriced, but that wasn't the case. The menu was so extensive that choosing was hard, lol. I tried chicken nanban set, hamburger steak meat pasta, hormone bowl, fried chicken bento, Taiwanese ramen, and yakitori with three kinds of sauce. Everything was delicious, without a doubt. I thought it was amazing. I couldn't manage my timings well enough to avoid the sauna crowd. If a group of students is there, they talk and sing loudly, and some have no manners. They even dive into the cold bath, despite signs saying 'silent bathing' and 'no diving.' They just keep talking and jumping in. Some older men dive into the cold bath too. One morning, an old man was brushing his teeth in the shower, even though there's a sink for that. It's a pain for office workers, and the sauna can feel full of students and older people with poor manners. If you can time it right, maybe it's fine.

The staff were all friendly and polite, and I liked that the cafeteria offers half-size portions. The menu isn't very big, and the food was quite strongly seasoned. The convenient location seems useful for a quick stop or overnight stay, and if you have time, you could head over to Kaike Onsen. I found the place better suited to a quick visit than a long, leisurely one, partly because people were talking in the sauna and bathroom. Timing may have played a part. This was my first visit, and I thought the website said towels and indoor clothes were included in the set, but I was charged for them. Be careful, as that may only apply to monthly members. The shampoo bar listed online seems to have been discontinued. I didn't bring shampoo because I thought it would be there, though shampoo is provided in the bath. I wish they would say on the website that the bar is no longer available. The sauna was lukewarm that day. I prefer it a little hotter, though other reviews called it hot. The cold bath was warm too, so it took a while to cool off.

I stayed for two days and really liked the place. It's clean, reasonably priced, right in the city center, and has lots of amenities. The public bath was a good size, not small, and just right. You can open the windows a little for a slight open-air hot spring feeling. Cyclists will appreciate the bike parking on the 5th floor. If you're in Yonago, I highly recommend it. Nearby, Bar Desperado is a fantastic bar too. The owner and customers are very friendly, and I'll definitely come back.

This capsule hotel and spa is professionally run, with comfortable facilities and friendly staff who can communicate in English. Travelers can take care of a lot in one place. The men's and women's accommodations are separate, and there's a large bath, a well-equipped restaurant and rest area, and parking. It offers good value and left me satisfied again.

We came to relax somewhere quiet, but a group of 30 people held a party without any advance notice, making the rest area very noisy. That area is usually dim and quiet, with many people sleeping, and this was clearly different from normal use. We reported the noise at the front desk, but nothing changed, and we don't know if the group was actually warned. We couldn't rest peacefully for the rest of our visit. We understand the event was happening, but we're unhappy there was no advance notice, the environment wasn't improved after we complained, and we were still charged the regular price. For others who come to relax, we hope they'll give clearer notice and show more consideration in the future.
