The location is very close to the train station and has a good view of Fuji mountain, but the service and facilities don’t justify the price. This isn’t a budget hotel. There’s no parking lot or even a drop-off area, and I had to search extensively for paid parking nearby. It cost me an extra ¥4400/day, which wasn’t ideal with my own car. I also had an uncomfortable experience with the restaurant dress code. I was told I couldn’t come in wearing the complimentary hotel slippers and had to change footwear, yet I saw other guests dining in slippers. That inconsistency was surprising. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The staff were friendly and the breakfast selection was awesome. It’s a really comfortable hotel within walking distance of the train station. If you’re lucky, you can see Mount Fuji from the onsen. I’d come back if I get the chance.

I’d happily stay here again. The staff were extremely welcoming, and breakfast had loads of delicious choices, especially the eggs Benedict bites, Mishima croquettes, salad bar, and fresh fruit. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I’ve had on this trip. I worried a little about having a room facing Fuji and the train station, but on the 10th floor it was nearly silent and didn’t bother me.

The rooftop public bath has a stunning view of the mountain. Staying here also gives you magnificent views of Mt Fuji.

The rooms are nice, there are good food options, and the lobby is on the 2nd floor right next to the station. We drove, though, and couldn’t find the drop-off lobby or parking. Someone suggested parking at the Gardens across the street and paying for entry, but I later found the parking route, shown in the photo.
