Glory island Okinawa - Miyako

I knew it wasn't in a convenient location, but the room was just so hot. By the second day I couldn't stop coughing, and I wondered if the air conditioner hadn't been cleaned. I checked and found it covered in dust. I washed one and compared them! There was dust under the bed too. Wouldn't a robot vacuum do a better job?

We ended up booking two rooms on the second floor for our family group after all the rooms were taken while we were deciding about a detached room. We were so glad we did. The view was amazing, and the sunrise was even better. The coastline from the Sun Double S room was especially beautiful, so we were happy with our choice from the very first day. After a disappointing experience with a certain booking site, we contacted Vacation Rental directly, though we weren't sure it would work out. They were incredibly helpful. It wasn't easy to arrange, but I want to thank them in person. I heard they've since left, but thank you so much, Kokuto! We only spoke by phone and email, yet both staff members were so helpful. We'll definitely use them again on our next trip to Okinawa.

The apartment was clean and in good shape, but the place is out in the middle of nowhere and felt a bit scary. At night there's no lighting around at all, so I'd suggest bringing a little flashlight!

Even by moonlight, you can enjoy the bright natural surroundings and the sea shimmering below. The sunrise rising over the horizon is magnificent.
