Even though the place wasn't especially comfortable, I thought it was fair for the price. The wooden floor had a distinctive old-house smell, and I spotted ants in some corners and mold in the shower. Getting there was tricky, from a wide alley into a narrow lane, and vehicle access seemed difficult. The owner was very kind when I arrived on that eerie, rainy evening. I'd say it works for a simple backpacking trip, but not if you're carrying lots of luggage. We recommend the sally.

We had a lovely, peaceful stay for two nights, and I'd happily return. On Miyakojima, where the surroundings are changing so quickly, it was nice to find an inn where everything felt calm and time seemed to move slowly. Maybe being near Miyako Shrine and Harimizu-sama helps give it that pleasant atmosphere. The place was quiet and clean, and although it's described as an inexpensive guesthouse, it still supplied towels and bath towels. Our room also had air conditioning, a dehumidifier/air purifier, and a two-door refrigerator.
