This was the worst guesthouse I've stayed in. The private rooms have paper walls in places, so you hear everything happening in the shared areas and can't sleep. The showers and bathrooms also seem shockingly different for men and women. It gave me the impression that the owner caters only to young women he likes, and that makes for a comfortable stay for them. The beach hut style decor is attractive, but there was no useful information for travelers anywhere. Parking is 1,000 yen per night, so with a rental car, another place may work out cheaper.

I was looking forward to staying here because the booking staff were very kind and the atmosphere seemed nice. Then the place closed without any notice or warning. I'd never heard of it before, and had to find another inn at short notice. I nearly ended up sleeping outside. It's a shame.

A week before my stay, the hotel suddenly cancelled the reservation I'd made through Rakuten Travel. They said they'd gone out of business and didn't apologize. Since we'd been able to communicate by email until recently, the whole thing felt suspicious.

The handmade decor is so adorable ❤️ and the owner and staff are incredibly kind!
