After I'd already paid, I was told on the second day that the room would only be cleaned every other day for environmental reasons. The booking site didn't explain this plan, there was no guide in the room, and nobody had told me about it. I'd already paid, and since I was staying for a long time, I wasn't in a position to find another hotel. The staff were rock bottom too. There seemed to be no manager, and I wondered what kind of training they had. Cleaning staff came into my room while I was there. When I complained about the noise next door, they warned the neighbors once, but it didn't get quiet right away, and there was no sign of anyone patrolling after that. The room-only price was higher than a regular business hotel. I spend a third of the year staying in hotels, and this is the first time I've had such a poor experience. I probably won't return, but please be careful. This hotel is a scam!

The renovated room was clean, but the bathroom itself hadn't been renovated, just wallpapered. There was a big crack in the bathroom ceiling, as if someone had stood on top and stepped through it. The incandescent bulbs were low wattage and dim. If they weren't going to make the room brighter, I would've preferred a warmer color. At check-in, a young boy at the front desk struggled with honorific language he wasn't used to, while people queued up waiting. He just handed me the key without explaining anything about the hotel interior. Do the staff get training? I was also surprised the parking cost 1,000 yen given how far away it is.

The beds are the soft, plush kind you sink into. Although the outside looks old, the guest rooms have been renovated and are clean. For breakfast you can pick Japanese, Western, fried chicken, or chicken nanban, and it was delicious.
