We felt very well looked after throughout our stay. The room facing the ocean was beautiful and spotless, and the private hot-spring bath was spacious and relaxing. Dinner was delicious and carefully prepared, and the bed was soft and comfortable. Our whole family had a wonderful time. Thank you for the warm hospitality. We’d definitely like to visit again.

The ocean-facing room had a lovely view, and the tatami bed was warm and comfortable. The room was clean, and both meals were delicious and satisfying. The owner was thoughtful and attentive, and the romantic music playing around the hotel added a nice touch. I’d stay here again and visit Amanohashidate again.

The owner was friendly and charming, and attentive to everything. The warm, welcoming atmosphere made the stay pleasant. Our room was spacious with a great view, and it had all the amenities, including toiletries and a yukata. Breakfast and dinner came in generous portions with a good variety of Japanese and Western dishes, all delicious. I’d definitely return if I’m back in Amanohashidate.

There are only four rooms, and the restaurant is the main attraction, but our room was spacious and comfortable. Both dinner and breakfast were satisfying. A wonderful inn.

The dinner was too strongly flavored for me, so I wanted to leave some feedback after visiting based on the reviews. The ginger soup had such an overpowering ginger taste that it was hard to drink. The roast beef and steak were both very tough and stringy. The steak sauce was salty, while the white seafood sauce was so bland it was hard to eat. The steak and crab croquettes also arrived quite cold. I appreciate food being served at the right time, but I wondered if it was really okay to serve them cold. There were other things I noticed, but the reviews I’d read were so highly rated that I felt I should write this. The main chef was serving in the evening, while a young person did the cooking, so maybe that was why the dinner felt so different from breakfast. Breakfast was a delicious, elegantly prepared mix of Japanese and Western food. I’m not trying to lower the score, so I’ll give it a 3. My ocean-facing room was clean and nice. I could hear construction and noise from next door, but it was within acceptable limits. The bathtub was quite large and relaxing. I think it’d be a good idea to keep the toilet and bathroom ventilated all the time. One last thing, the refrigerator was loud and made strange noises, so I turned it off when I went to sleep.
