The warm welcome was what I’ll remember most. Usin was adorable and helped us so much. I hope I can return soon, and we’ll miss the restaurant a lot back in France. The food here is the best in the valley. This is the best hotel in the area, with very clean traditional Japanese rooms and shared toilets and bathroom. We slept on futons and had a lovely stay. Thanks again to Usin for everything.

We spent two nights here and had a peaceful stay. The rooms are simple, clean, and in traditional Japanese tatami style. The meals were home cooked and delicious, and we loved the amazing views and hiking nearby. The walls are thin, as is typical in Japanese places, so you can hear other guests easily.

The host is Taiwanese and super friendly, and the place has a homey feel with only three bedrooms. It's an amazing inn in a central spot in Iya Valley. You can fall asleep to the soft, gentle sound of the river below. Highly recommended!

A wonderful little hostel with great rooms and a super helpful, friendly host. It’s perfectly located for exploring the wild, beautiful Iya Valley, with waterfalls and hanging bridges nearby.

The atmosphere here is lovely, and I really enjoyed the baked treats. I stayed for two nights, though it seems like a nice spot even if you're just stopping by. I'd recommend it either way.
