Hotel the Belle

Towels are kept on a shelf, which may not be obvious to first-time guests. The room was clean, though the bathroom and toilet felt a little old and dirty. Also, the toilet isn't a washlet.

The non-smoking rooms are on the third floor, so getting a heavy suitcase up the stairs was a concern. I had to think about how to distribute my things, putting heavier items in a backpack, and I also wondered about the soundproofing. Even so, for this price I thought it was a great hotel. I stayed more than three days, and they cleaned the room, changed the towels, and made the beds daily. Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shaving soap, and other basics were supplied. Razors and toothbrushes were available for self-service from metal racks on each floor. I had no trouble finding food: Hotto Motto was a few meters across the road, while a Create drugstore and Family Mart were a few minutes away on foot toward Mohira Station.

Amenities, water, and coffee are self-service in the lounge. The rooms felt a little dated and smelled strongly of cigarettes, but the low price made it good value. It's not too far from the station, and free parking made it a convenient option for my first stay.

There's a fridge and TV, and tablets are provided for easy internet access, which is handy. Kracie shaving cream was included among the amenities, a nice touch. The first-floor laundry and vending machines were useful, with washing and drying each costing 100 yen, though it was a bit of a nuisance from the second floor or above. It's about a 10-minute walk from Mobara Station. The heating and cooling are managed centrally, so I couldn't fine-tune the room temperature. My nose got itchy and my throat sore as soon as I entered, so people with sensitive skin should be careful.
