Very good.

Really nice place! They have both sky villas and family villas. It seems suitable for couples, families, or solo travelers too. I'd definitely come back!

The washer and gas dryer worked well, and the cleaning was fairly thorough. Those were about the only bright spots. The place felt dark and musty, with peeling wallpaper, warped floors, stained sofa, and cheap-looking DIY LED lights in the toilet. There were odd steps along the paths that felt unsafe, and the private parking lot was a 2-3 minute walk away. At night I could hear what sounded like animals running above the ceiling, and the staff response was inadequate. I’d wanted to stay in Bise for ages, and the price seemed reasonable, so I booked three nights. It was disappointing enough that I checked out after two and found somewhere else for the last night. The inn felt like an amateur had built it without considering guests’ needs. I can’t recommend it.

The one clear plus was being close to Bisezaki, one of the Adan Resorts. The two free beers were welcome for me, though my wife was bothered by how unsanitary the place felt. There were mosquitoes around, so bring repellent. The parking entrance is narrow, off an unpaved road, and I initially wondered whether even an Impreza G4 would fit. Before reading Mr. Pkawa’s review, I’d already told my wife the house seemed designed by someone who knew nothing about architecture. The place feels like the owner’s hobby and was built for appearance. The direct window placement leaves little privacy. The LED indirect lighting is direct instead of soft and reflected. The sudden, large step is right outside the bedroom, where it’s often dark at night, and also lies on the way to the bathroom. Anyone could trip, including young people, older guests, or someone carrying hot food from the kitchen to the living room. I warned my wife at check-in, then nearly fell myself that night on the bare tiled step heading toward the kitchen. I stumbled and almost broke a tooth or had a serious accident. The hallway smelled musty as soon as we entered. There was black mold around the bathroom, and the grout had gone black. The lack of privacy in the architecture leaves me speechless. Hotels above the Marriott level follow global standards and common sense, but this place’s design seems driven entirely by personal interest.
