Log Pension Izumigamori

This is a quiet log cabin guesthouse, built about 20 years ago, and a nice fit for anyone who likes that kind of place. The owner was very kind. There are no convenience stores or vending machines within walking distance, so bring your own food and drinks. We had four people and slept in the Western-style room downstairs. There’s also a tatami room with futons upstairs, but no air conditioning on that floor, so it may get hot for a larger group in warmer months. The interior and garden are spacious and lovely, with butterflies drifting around the flowers, which made the scenery very relaxing. You’ll need to prepare your own meals, though you can barbecue, and when the weather is good, eating outside is a nice option. There’s no Wi-Fi or barrier-free access.
